GOOD PORTIONS AND FAIR PRICES
The Restaurant La Fattoria is a spot with a friendly atmosphere, where you can breath air of conviviality and wellness. This is the philosophy transmitted by the owners Ornella and Carlo, who try to satisfy their guests giving them the best possible quality.
The Restaurant has a wide internal dining room with view over the surrounding hills and in summer another one outdoors, near the barbecue and the oven, with view over the swimming pool.
The main feature of the Restaurant is the extreme attention to the quality of the products, which the owners themselves have selected from local producers. This means that in addition to the guarantee of quality and price, there is another one for products’ origin too, which are mostly bought in the neighbouring area.
Some of the most renowned dishes are: Ornella’s home made pasta, game specialities as pappardelle (wide ribbon noodles) with wild boar or hare sauce, gnocchetti (potato dumplings) with truffles and porcini mushrooms, wild boar with olives, fried polenta (thick maize porridge), T-bone steak, pheasant with olives, fried chicken and rabbit, guinea-fowl with Marsala wine. Home-made cakes and fruit in season.
Fish menu only on reservation.
The oil used for cooking is extra-virgin olive oil produced by the owners themselves, other important guarantee of maximum quality and genuineness.
As regards wines, are preferable those ones local loose, even if of course there is a good choice in a list of bottled local, Tuscan and national wines.
The restaurant is suitable, thanks to wide inside and outside dining rooms and the swimming pool, for ceremonies and group dinners.
In summer time is usual to prepare a small happy hour (or aperitif in other words) at pool border, with cold and warm buffet. This moment is particularly appreciated by the guests.
